Politics and political problems are a subject for adults to deal with

I disagree with this statement. First of all it is very important for young people to learn about these things because it will be easier for them to make big decisions in the future. Also the adults see things differently than we do and they are deciding our future. If the adults choose to do something that we don’t want then there might be anarchy.

All stories can have a happy ending if those involved work towards it

I disagree with this statement as well. That is because sometimes it’s not just working hard, it how much luck you have. Also even if you are really good at the job but you don’t have a rich family, someone who isn’t as good as you might get the job because he has connections.

Literacy (being able to read) is a form of freedom

I agree and disagree with this statement. I agree with it because if you know how to read you get to choose what you want to believe in. The reason I disagree with this is because it depends who writes it. If it’s a capitalist then they will probably be against the socialists. In other words they might give you the wrong idea about things. Some people might say “You have the right to choose what you’re going to read”. Well maybe things aren’t like that. If you are living under a dictatorship you will have to read those kinds of books if that what the government allows, since you need to be educated.

Civilizations without a written language cannot document history

I agree with this statement. If it can’t be recorded then it can’t be kept. Even if it continues orally something might happen and the whole village will be destroyed, so no one can ever know
